Our Team

Nicole Garton, B.A., LL.B, LL.M., C.Med, FEA, TEP, is a lawyer, mediator and parenting coordinator of wills and estates and family law matters. In her solicitor’s practice, Nicole advises on all aspects of estate planning and administration, including the preparation of wills, powers of attorney, representation agreements and trusts, as well as applications for probate and letters of administration.

Valeriya completed the paralegal degree program at Capilano University and has experience in family law, estate planning and litigation. Before joining us in 2022, she completed her practicum at a boutique law firm in Burnaby, focusing on family law.

Emily is a part-time Administrative Assistant at Heritage Law. Emily assists our staff and clients with various administrative and client matters. Emily is a student at Handsworth Secondary and a competitive swimmer.

Greg is Vice President and a Senior Trust Officer at Heritage Law. Greg specializes in the administration of complex estates as he had 18 years of prior experience administering estates in the public sector for the government of British Columbia.

Julia Zubko is completing her Bachelor of Legal (Paralegal) Studies at Capilano University. Julia joined our firm as a Paralegal Practicum Student in 2023. Having successfully completed her practicum, Julia is now transitioning into the role of a paralegal at our firm.

Since launching her legal career in 1987, Elizabeth has worked in diverse practice areas, including business and corporate, wills and estates, civil litigation and family law. On obtaining her Legal Assistant Diploma in Toronto, Ontario, she first worked for a small intellectual property law firm in London, Ontario, while completing her degree at the University of Western Ontario.
